Terms of Sale

  • To Open a Bella Account

    • Bella Moulding services professional picture framing businesses and products are provided to the trade only.
    • All customers within the State of Illinois will need to have a tax identification number and provide a copy of their tax resale certificate.
  • Terms and Credit

    • An open account may be established by submitting the credit application form you can obtain from your Bella sales rep, by contacting customer service, or by visiting www.BellaMoulding.com. Please allow 3 weeks for credit approval. Approved, standard credit terms are Net 30 from the invoice date.
    • Initial orders may be pre-paid or shipped C.O.D. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for your convenience.
    • Late charges will be applied to all past due balances.
  • General Ordering Information

    • Our customer service department is a phone call away. Our business hours are 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Central Standard Time(CST) Monday through Friday. If you prefer, orders can be submitted via fax 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Another option or placing your orders is through e-mail at sales@bellamoulding.com

    • Please have the following information available to help us provide you with quality service:
      • Your Bella Account Number
      • Company Name
      • Item Number and Quantity
      • Any Special Instructions Required (i.e. cutting instructions for length orders)
      • Preferred Shipping Method
    • Length and Chop orders will be shipped the same day if the order is placed prior to the cut-off times listed below. If order is placed after these respective times, the order will ship the following business day.
      • Eastern and Central Time Zones; 12:30 P.M. (CST)
      • Mountain and Pacific Time Zones; 1:30 P.M. (CST)
    • Joined frames will require one full business day to complete and ship.
  • Chop & Join Orders

    • The minimum chop or join order is 4”.
    • Discounts are available on chops or join quantity orders:
      • Five (5) to ten (10) chops or joins ordered receive 5% discount.
      • Eleven (11) to twenty (20) chops or joins ordered receive 10%.
      • Twenty-one (21)+ chops or joins receive a 15% discount.
    • Use the following formula to calculate footage needed for chop & join orders.
      • ((L+W x 2) + (8 x Moulding Width)
  • Custom Wedge Service

    • For perfect assembly we route corners to accommodate an innovative plastic wedge insert designed to create a perfectly joined corner. You’ll receive the plastic wedges needed for each corner along with your chop shipment.
    • The charge for routing and thumbnail service is:
      • $3.00 per frame (1 wedge per corner)
      • $5.00 per frame (2 wedges per corner)
      • $7.00 per frame (3 wedges per corner)
      • $9.00 per frame (4 wedges per corner)
      • $11.00 per frame (5 wedges per corner)
  • Length Moulding

    • Minimum Length order is one stick per item (the length size may vary for each item).
    • Discounts are available on length quantity orders as follows (Not valid for use with multiple item numbers)
      • 100’ – 249’ receive a 5% discount
      • 250’ – 500’ receive a 10% discount
      • 501’+ receive a 15% discount
  • Rush Orders

    • All rush orders are accepted at our discretion.
    • Any chop or length order placed after respective cut-off times and is requested to receive expedited processing, will be charged for a Regular Rush charge of $7.00 per item.
    • SUPER RUSH: Any join order request to be shipped the same day, will be charged $12.00 per item.
  • Special Instructions

    • Cutting instructions. Unless other wise specified, Bella will chop your frames with 1/8” allowance.
    • Liner Frames. If you are ordering a liner frame, give us the exact measurement of your artwork, then order the outer frame to fit the liner frame.
    • Stacked frames. Order stacked frames in the sequence they will be starting from the inside to the outside. Order the inside frame to fit your artwork, then order all other moulding to fit the frame for the artwork.
    • Canvas frames. To avoid cutting a frame that won’t fit an out of square piece, give us the precise measurements for all four sides.
    • Sight Size. If you are ordering a chop or join, give us the exact measurement of the area which artwork can be seen.
  • Shipping Information

    • Our goal is to ship your purchases in the most efficient and economical way possible. Unless you request another method, we’ll ship you orders through UPS, FedEx and truck shipments.
    • Shipping cost can be greatly reduce on length orders if moulding is cut it down, please inform customer service of cutting instructions when placing your order. Bella Customer Service cannot recommend cutting instructions for length moulding.
    • UPS Specifications:
      • UPS does not ship packages over 96 inches in length, packages over 130 total inches (height plus girth), or over 150 pounds.
      • Special freight charges apply to oversized packages.
      • A package is considered oversized when it’s “height plus girth” exceeds 84”
      • If a package is oversized, its weight will be rated at 30 pounds or its actual weight which ever is greater.
    • FedEx Specifications: FedEx does not ship packages over 119 inches in length, packages over 165 total inches (height plus girth) or over 150 pounds.
  • Order Cancelations

    • There is no charge for canceling a chop or join order if the cancellation is received prior to cutting.
    • If the chop or join has been cut, the customer will be charged a 30% restocking fee of the full amount.
    • A 15% restocking fee is applicable to packed length orders that are cancelled.
    • If item(s) have shipped, the aforementioned restocking charges will be in charged in addition to all shipping costs incurred.
  • Shipping Damage

    • We take extreme care in packaging your orders to ensure they arrive on time and in excellent condition. Occasionally, however, material can be damaged in transit. If you receive damaged material save the original merchandise and packaging for inspection and for filing a claim. Call Bella’s Customer Service immediately to notify of the damage at 888.248.6545.
    • In case of damage UPS/FedEx shipments, have the driver inspect the damaged package and note damages on paperwork. Then call Bella’s Customer Service immediately so we may assess and service your needs quickly.
    • Please note that we cannot be responsible for damage caused by other common freight carriers, unless the damage is noted on the freight carrier’s original bill of lading at the time of delivery.
  • Returns

    • Please carefully inspect all merchandise prior to assembly.
    • Returns must be reported within 14 days and must have an authorization number provided by Bella Moulding.
    • If you received defective materials, we will send a replacement immediately and issue a call tag for the defective materials sent.
    • Replacements are sent say day as reported, if reported by 3:30PM. Once the returned merchandise is received and inspected, we will issue an appropriate credit if deemed eligible.
    • We are unable to accept returns on the following:
      • Purchases over 30 days from invoice date.
      • Any moulding that has been altered or defaced.
      • Chops or joins ordered by customer error and joins or chops that have been assembled.
